Before I wrote a line of production code I ran operations. I spent 2020–2025 as Director of Operations at Upstate Hearing — doubling the entire business across five clinic locations with multi-physician marketing partnerships, an internal apprentice-program build-out, and the Brain Health community-seminar series we launched from scratch. Before that, a decade of operations leadership at a Fortune 50 retailer.

What scaling those businesses taught me is the same thing that makes a digital tool work in production: discipline, documentation, and the willingness to ship the simple version instead of the clever one. Stewardship over hype, on every system.
